I offer gentle Mindful Movement for people in curvy, ageing, and inflexible bodies specialising in variations that support their changing needs at midlife and beyond. As a senior teacher, I’m here to help you discover how it can benefit you. From improving balance and joint mobility to finding relaxation and connection, every session is crafted to support you safely and inspire you thoughtfully informed by my years of extensive training.

About Nerine

Yoga arrived on the shores of my awareness over 20 years ago when I was searching for a way to relieve stress. As the years passed, I explored a wide range of styles including Hatha, Iyengar, Astanga, Yin, Restorative, and Viniyoga. My journeys through dance and yoga persuaded me to cultivate the gentle, thoughtful approach I weave into my teachings today. The intention is not to merely show up on the mat, but to allow our time there to transform us. As an advocate of inclusivity, I maintain a respectful, light-hearted environment where students are empowered to honour their individual needs exactly as they are in that moment.

In my space, there’s no room for fat-shaming, wrinkle-shaming, or age-shaming. Instead, we focus on what the ageing body can do, celebrating the strength, resilience, and wisdom that only comes from growing older.

Over the years, I’ve worked with students of all body shapes and abilities offering bespoke guidance for individuals, not just stereotypes. The truth is yoga can feel uncomfortable in any body if the pose variation isn’t the right fit or the teacher lacks sufficient experience.

I hold a 500hr diploma from BWY, in addition to teaching certifications in Silver Age, Menopause, and Mindful Grieving.
