About you

I’m a Hatha, Vinyasa, and Trauma-Informed Restorative Yoga Teacher, Usui Level 2 Reiki Practitioner, and Emergency Medicine Doctor with a passion for holistic health and wellbeing.

My main offering is Yoga in the Woods at Otley Chevin Forest Park, a unique outdoor yoga experience that helps you reconnect with nature while bringing balance to your mind and body.

My wellness journey began alongside my medical career, where I saw the crucial need for balance between physical health and mental/emotional care. Working in the fast-paced environment of Emergency Medicine made me recognise how important it is to have tools that support long-term wellbeing and stress management.

Driven by my desire to help others heal on a deeper level — physically, mentally, and emotionally — I decided to step away from my career in Emergency Medicine to focus on my passion for holistic health, spirituality, and nature. That’s when I created Yoga in the Woods, combining my love for nature and the healing power of outdoor spaces. I wanted to offer people a space to step away from the busyness of life and reconnect with themselves and the natural world. Reiki has further enabled me to help clients on their healing journeys.

To deepen my approach even more, I’m currently completing a Diploma in Lifestyle Medicine, which emphasises preventative care and empowers people to make sustainable, long-term changes for healthier, more balanced lives. Soon, I will also offer Coaching, giving my clients personalised tools to take charge of their health, blending holistic and evidence-based practices.

To look after my own wellbeing, I keep things simple and connected to nature. I enjoy journaling, reading, wild swimming, and yoga in the fresh air. I also love the meditative process of painting by numbers while listening to a good podcast!

I offer a holistic approach to wellbeing that blends movement, mindfulness, and healing, tailored to both individuals and groups.

Set within the peaceful woodlands of Otley Chevin Forest Park, Yoga in the Woods helps you unwind, restore your energy, and deepen your connection to self. It is ideal for all levels, from beginners to seasoned yogis, offering a calming and immersive yoga experience. During the sessions we have the opportunity to gather for a warm cup of post-yoga tea, enjoy vegan treats, and have a friendly chat, fostering a real sense of community.

In addition to group classes, I also offer indoor and outdoor private and small group yoga sessions, which allow for a more personalised approach. These sessions are perfect if you’re looking to deepen your practice or work around specific health concerns. As a Hatha, Vinyasa and Trauma-Informed Restorative Yoga teacher I’ll craft a class just for you!

As a Reiki Practitioner, I offer private and small group Reiki healing sessions. Reiki is a gentle yet powerful energy healing technique that promotes deep relaxation and emotional healing. Whether you are looking to ease physical tension or enhance your emotional well-being, Reiki can support your journey to balance and health.

I also offer Corporate Wellness Sessions, bringing yoga, mindfulness, and stress management into the workplace to boost employee wellbeing. These sessions can be tailored to suit the needs of your business.

With my background in Emergency Medicine, and my ongoing studies in Lifestyle Medicine and Coaching, I draw on a wide range of experiences to offer a balanced, compassionate and open-minded approach that helps you achieve a healthier, more harmonious life.

For private yoga and Reiki healing sessions, I offer in-person options at wellness spaces in West Leeds, or virtual sessions that you can enjoy from the comfort of your home.

My Corporate Wellness Sessions can be held outdoors, in your business premises, or online – whichever works best for your team.
